LISA HO

BOARD MEMBER

Lisa Ho is a professional dancer, choreographer, and dance educator, based out of Vancouver. She has been recognized as a versatile performer conquering both commercial and artistic aspects of the dance industry.

Some of her notable credits include the Tony Award Winning show Shrek The Musical on Broadway (original cast), A Chorus Line on Broadway, Mamma Mia! in Toronto, and regional productions of Miss Saigon, High School Musical and The King and I.

Film/TV credits include Once Upon A Mattress, Deep Rising, The Score, The Tony Awards, Live With Regis and Kelly, The Early Show, Package Deal on City TV, Once Upon A Time on ABC, and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies on Paramount.

She has worked with influential choreographers and directors such as Kathleen Marshall, Jason Moore, Rob Ashford, and Crystal Pite, to name a few. Lisa was the choreographer on the short film A Full Circle, which was selected to be in the San Francisco Dance Film Festival, and A Full Circle 2.0.

In collaboration with her sister Anabel Ho, she led the movement and choreography of the play Three Sisters at the Gateway Theatre, industrials for Nissan and special presentations for the International Olympic Committee.

Her expertise as a professional dancer and educator has brought her throughout Asia and North America to teach master classes at various dance schools and colleges. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. She is certified in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, Progressing Ballet Technique, Sugar Foot Therapy, and Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. Having spent many years touring with the Strathcona Chinese Dance Company, she now continues to impart her knowledge of Chinese Dance and Culture with youth.

She currently also serves on the Board of Directors of the Maria Mimie Ho Foundation.
