Jillian Vanstone is a stager and rehearsal director for Christopher Wheeldon, and a freelance producer. 

A former Principal Dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, throughout her 22 year performance career Ms Vanstone was celebrated for her unique storytelling ability and exceptional technique. Her repertoire spanned the 19th century classics, the masterworks of the 20th century, and new ballets by today’s leading choreographers. She is best known for her interpretation of Alice in Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Ms Vanstone retired from the stage in March 2022 with Christopher Wheeldon’s renowned After the Rain. In her current capacities, she has since been working internationally, including engagements with Hamburg Ballet, The Royal Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, American Ballet Theater, Wiener Stattsoper, Queensland Ballet, Fall for Dance North, and Studio SImkin.
