Emma Galvin (she/they), originally from Calgary, AB, is a dance artist based in so-called Vancouver. Emma graduated from Modus Operandi’s post-secondary training program, directed by Tiffany Tregarthen, David Raymond, Kate Franklin, and Maiko Miyauchi, in 2025. In their graduating year of MO, Emma was a dancer with Ballet BC Annex, touring works by Medhi Walerski, Micaela Taylor, and Zachary Seto through BC. They participated in Inverso Productions’ Performance Research Project, collaborating in creative processes with Lesley Telford, Josh Martin, and Shion Skye Carter. Emma has had the opportunity to work as a student apprentice and dancer with Joshua Beamish/MOVETHECOMPANY, performing in productions of SALT and Source Amnesia. She is currently a company artist with Belle Spirale Dance Projects, and was an emerging artist for their double-bill Universus. Emma has also performed with Ne. Sans Opera and Dans directed by Idan Cohen, as well as Inverso Productions directed by Lesley Telford
