BRYN BRIDGEN

Bryn Bridgen is an Indigenous contemporary dance artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Bryn graduated from the GibneyPRO Professional Certificate Program, which she attended from 2022 to 2024 in New York, NY. Under the direction of Alexandra Wells, Bret Yamanaka, and Gilbert T. Small II, she performed new creative works by Adam Barruch, Peter Chu, Laja Field, and Lea Ved. Bryn works closely with Racheal Prince & Brandon Lee Alley in their company Dance//Novella, through residencies and performances at The Polygon Gallery, The Dance Centre, SoundOFF Edmonton, and the Banff Centre. As a freelance artist, Bryn has also collaborated with Maiko Miyauchi, Anya Saugstad, Majella Bess Loughran, and others. Bryn attended Springboard Danse 2025, Ballet BC 44 2025, Out/Innerspace - Jermaine Spivey/Yi-Chun Liu Intensive 2023, and the Modus Operandi Link Program 2023. Bryn creates her own work in collaboration with Linnea Goldstrom, most recently performing An Endless Weave at Vines Festival 2025. Bryn’s movement practice is grounded in a desire to explore the human experience, continually shaped by the diverse individuals she meets. Creation and collaboration offer a powerful means to examine identity, and integrating her Indigenous heritage with new cultural influences has brought depth to her artistic journey.
