Originally from Surrey BC, Amanda began her dance training at 4 years old. She spent her school years competing throughout the lower mainland in all genres of dance, before moving to Pacific Dance Arts to focus on ballet. After graduating high school, Amanda joined the Aspirant program at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet for two years. She was then o ered a contract with the company in 2019, and promoted to Second Soloist in 2024. Some of her most notable roles have been Clara and The Sugar Plum Fairy in Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s The Nutcracker, Pas de six and Zulme in Giselle, Fairy Godmother in Val Caniparoli’s A Cinderella Story, Snow White in Angelin Preljocaj’s Snow White and Tinkerbell in Jorden Morris’ Peter Pan. Amanda is looking forward to returning to Vancouver in this new chapter of her career.
